On October 7th, at the iconic Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Australian fashion house Aje made a spectacular debut at Paris Fashion Week, unveiling its highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2026 “Rebel Rebel” collection.
This milestone presentation, led by Aje Co-Founders Adrian Norris and Edwina Forest, marked a defining moment in the brand’s evolution - bringing a distinctly Australian perspective to one of the world’s most prestigious fashion stages.
Supporting this landmark moment were Wella Professionals and ghd, who collaborated to direct the hair artistry behind the runway. Together, they brought the collection’s themes of individuality, strength and freedom to life through expressive, raw, and effortlessly cool hair styling.
Parisian chic meets Australian edge
The hair looks, led by Renya Xydis, Wella Professionals ANZ Creative Director and ghd Creative Artist, celebrated natural textures, movement and personality - a visual dialogue between French elegance and Australian authenticity.
“Wella Professionals and ghd are thrilled to join forces with Aje to create looks that celebrate each model’s unique hair shape and texture,” said Renya Xydis. “The looks hero individuality and natural movement, capturing that effortless, cool-girl aesthetic.”
Drawing inspiration from the Australian landscape, salt-dried strands, windswept movement, and sunlit softness - the hair direction embraced undone beauty with emotional depth and textural dimension.
“It’s the opposite of doing hair,” Xydis explained. “It’s about finding that effortless cool - French meets Aussie girl, real hair that moves.”

The collection: Rebel Rebel
Inspired by the avant-garde artists of the 20th Century, Rebel Rebel is a daring exploration of figure and form - a study of contrasts where structure meets softness and art meets wearability. The collection reimagines Aje’s signature handwriting with hand-pleated movement, sculptural silhouettes, and organic textural play, all grounded in earthy Australian tones and sun-washed hues.

The presentation - proudly supported by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode - was attended by an international audience including Jessie Andrews, Giovanna Ewbank, Olivia Jade, Tina Kunakey, Lena Perminova, Julia Restoin Roitfeld, Emili Sindlev, Pernille Teisbaek, and Phoebe Tonkin.
As Aje prepares to expand its global footprint, including the opening of its first international concession at Printemps Paris in early 2026, the partnership with Wella Professionals and ghd highlights the power of collaboration and the influence of Australian artistry on the world stage.

HOW TO RECREATE THE LOOK - MODEL ONE
STEP ONE
Apply the Wella Professionals Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue to the hair.
Then apply a light mist of EIMI Ocean Spritz and diffuse hair on low speed, medium heat with the ghd Helios Hair Dryer.
STEP TWO
Add clips to set, using Creaseless clips and diffuse to set the shape.
STEP THREE
Remove clips and spritz another layer of the Wella Professionals Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue.
STEP FOUR
Use the Chronos Curve Classic Tong, taking sections and create unique bends in the hair by wrapping around in different directions.
STEP FIVE
Massage hair and raise the hair up.
Apply clips in new texture and spritz with Wella EIMI Dry Me
HOW TO RECREATE THE LOOK - MODEL TWO
STEP ONE
Apply the Wella Professionals Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue to the hair. Then apply a light mist of EIMI Ocean Spritz through front pieces of hair.
STEP TWO
Using the ghd Chronos Curve Grand Tong, open clamp massaging the hair to smooth and define texture. While the section is still hot, pull it straight to relax the movement.
STEP THREE
Spray Wella Professionals EIMI Dry Me and rake hair into fingers and twist into bun under occipital bone.
STEP FOUR
Spritz a light layer of Wella Professionals EIMI Mistify Me Light and EIMI Glam Mist.

Use ghd Professional Comb attachment on Helios Hair Dryer on a low setting to lift the hair and add volume while stretching out the model’s natural texture.
STEP THREE
